Srinivas University Application

A workshop on “Hands on training on assembly of two wheeler components” was held at Srinivas University College of Engineering and Technology, Mukka on 22 nd  September 2018. The workshop was jointly organised by Department of Mechanical Engineering, SUCET, Mukka and M/s Sai Radha TVS, Udupi and Mangaluru. Sai Radha TVS is the authorised main dealer for TVS two wheelers in Udupi and Mangalore.  The workshop saw an active participation from the students of Mechanical Engineering, who involved themselves in the dissembling and assembly of the two wheeler vehicles. Both the geared (TVS Apache RTR) and auto geared (TVS Jupiter) vehicles were used for the purpose.               The members of expert team from Sai Radha TVS were Mr Carlton M. A. Mr Hermon Saldanha, a II-year student of Mechanical Engineering in College of Engineering & Technology, Srinivas University, Mukka secured  First  place in the Open Under 25 section of the Albertian International Open FIDE Rated Chess Tournament – 2018 held at Kochi, Kerala. We wish him further success in his endeavours.

Mr. Sudeep Devashya, CEO & his Engineering team from Epitas Software LLP, Mangalore visited SUCET, Mukka on 28-8-18 & delivered a pep talk on Latest innovations in Technology & Industrial orientation Project Ideas. The team also gave a demo on some innovations in robotics & artificial intelligence.  

ABC for Technology visited SUCET Mukka to conduct campus recruitment drive on 30-8-18 for 2019 batch B.E students. Offer letters were issued to the selected students.   

   The Srinivas University College of Engineering & Technology celebrated “ORIENTATION DAY” on August 23rd to welcome the new batch of students. The President of the function was Dr P.S Aithal, Vice Chancellor of Srinivas University. The Registrar of Srinivas University, Dr Anil Kumar and Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, Registrar (Evaluation) were the other guests present.       Ms. Shrinidhi Rai rendered the invocation. Dr Praveen BM the Chief Coordinator of Srinivas University welcomed the  new students, parents and guests and acquainted the audience with the Srinivas University guidelines. A five-day workshop on ANSYS software was inaugurated at Srinivas University College of Engineering and Technology, Mukka on 3 rd  September 2018. The workshop is jointly organised by Department of Mechanical Engineering, SUCET, Mukka and eCADD Mangalore. The workshop is a first of its kind to be conducted in Mangalore region as it is conducted by authorised instructors of ANSYS Inc. The workshop will provide practical hands on integrated approach in composite material analysis and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) with respect to AIRFOIL FLUENT ANALYSIS.             Dr Shreeprakash B, Dean, presided over the inaugural ceremony. Mr Prasanna Shankar, Academic program manager, ANSYS, South India was the chief guest for the function.
