Mother’s Meet w as organised in Srinivas University College of Engineering and Technology on 22/12/2018 , Saturday. The main inten t ion of this event was the get together all the Mother’s of the Students studying in our college and to promote a good and cordial relation with faculties and the institute . In addition to this , most of the Mother’s will get an opportunity to interact with each other and also maintain long term relationship by sharing their contact details. Mainly , a ll the Mother’s will come to the college and have an opportunity to interact with the faculties. Workshop on "Alternative Fuels for IC Engines" @ SUCET Mukka A workshop on "Alternative fuels for IC engines" was held on 19th November 2018 at Srinivas university, College of engineering and technology, Mukka by the Department of Mechanical engineering. Dr Kumar GN, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, NITK, Surathkal, was the resource person for the workshop. The importance of hydrogen as a alternative fuel for vehicles and other alternative fuels were dealt in the workshop. Workshop on “EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING THROUGH VIRTUAL LABS” @ SUCET Mukka Virtual Labs project is an initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India under the aegis of National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). This project is a consortium activity of twelve participating institutes and IIT Delhi is coordinating institute. It is a paradigm shift in ICT-based education. For the first time, such an initiative has been taken-up in remote‐experimentation. Under Virtual Labs project, over 100 Virtual Labs consisting of approximately 700+ web-enabled experiments were designed for remote-operation and viewing.
