The College of Engineering & Technology will remain closed on Tuesday, 1st May 2018 on account of May Day .

Academic Review and Orientation Program was conducted recently for First year B.Tech. students of Srinivas University.    Dr Anil Kumar - Registrar, SU, has presided over the program. Dr Ramakrishna Hegde, Vice Principal has delivered a talk on ‘How to become a Potential Engineer at Srinivas University’.   Mr. Vikas Rai – Training & Placement Officer has given a talk on ‘Placement Activities and its Importance’. Dr Praveen B M – Coordinator, has welcom ed the gathering. Dr Shreeprakash B - Dean has briefed about the overall activities conducted during the last semester. Dr Santhosh Shenoy has delivered vote of thanks. Invocation was rendered by Ms. Shaina Hegde and team. Ms. Manasa and Ms. Ashfiya Naaz were the Master of Ceremony for the program.  HOD’s and Faculty members of various departments were present in the function.

Kalaspandana-18, Cultural Extravaganza was organized at Srinivas University College of Engineering & Technology, Mukka on 7 th April 2018. Senior Bharathanatya Artist and Renowned Art Reviewer Vidushi Smt. Prathibha L Samaga was the Chief Guest of the inaugural function. Dr. Shreeprakash B (Dean, SUCET ) presided over the function. Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde (Vice Principal, SUCET) introduced the Chief Guest to the gathering. Prof Nagaraja N S (Convener of Kalaspandana-18 ) welcomed the dignitaries and given an overview of Kalaspandana. Prof. Sai Venkatramana Prasad has briefed the details of competitions conducted and the prize winners. Dr. Praveen B M (Coordinator, Srinivas University) delivered vote of thanks. Judges of the Cultural Events Vidushi Kumari Shravya and Vidushi Smt Anitha Raveendran were present. Ms. Chaithra Bhat rendered invocation. A Clean Campus Drive was organised by the Rotaract Club of SUCET, Mukka on April 2. More than 90 student volunteers, in a period of 2 hours, helped in cleaning paper and plastic waste from the campus surroundings. Around 35 Kgs of waste was collected which was safely disposed. The members created a few posters which were also displayed at a few locations. A few dustbins were placed at prominent locations to enable students to dispose waste effectively. The club proposes to conduct street plays as well as a march to drive home the message about keeping our environment clean. Rtr. Amulya of 6 th Sem CS coordinated the activity.

Keeping in mind the Systematic Voter’s Education & Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative, the Srinivas University-College of Engg & Technology (SUCET), formerly, Srinivas School of Engineering (SSE), Mukka, Mangaluru organised the following programs to propagate the main objectives. Participants took the Voter’s Pledge to take part in the upcoming election upholding the values enshrined in the constitution. Prof. Rohan Fernandez delivered a short talk to drive home the message “Why Should I Vote” and encouraged the audience to vote in a free and fair manner without falling prey to inducements. With many students being First Time Voters, Online pamphlets were circulated by the members of the Rotaract Club of the college to their contacts to spread the message of the Election Commission to take part in the upcoming elections and encourage their family and neighbours too.

National Level Techno Cultural and Sports Fest "Tech Yuva-18" was inaugurated today at SUCET (Srinivas University College of Engineering & Technology), Mukka, Mangaluru. Dr Niranjan U C, Director of Manipal Dot Net Pvt Ltd. Manipal was the Chief Guest of the inaugural function. Dr. Shreeprakash B (Dean, SUCET) welcomed the dignitaries and gathering. Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde (Convener, Tech Yuva-18) has given an insight of Tech Yuva. Dr. Anil Kumar (Registrar, Srinivas University) presided over the function.  Mr. Sheshagiri Tantry introduced the Chief Guest to the gathering. Ms. Chethana Jane and Ms. Shanel Pinto compered the program. Mr. Shailendra Prabhu performed the invocation. Mr. Abhijith Dhananjay Naik was present on the dais. Ms. Swetha Bhat delivered Vote of Thanks.
