INAUGURATION OF NICSA ACTIVITIES

The inaugural function of activities of Electronics and Communication Department Students Association (NICSA) was organized at the college on 29th October 2018. Dr. Abdul Kareem, Director, R & D, MIT, Kundapura was the Chief Guest and advised the students to develop skills and work smart in his inaugural address. Dr. Shreeprakash B, Dean, College of Engineering and Technology, Srinivas University, Mangaluru, presided over the function and advised the students to involve in all the activities of the association to develop their personal skills. Dr. Praveen B M, Coordinator of Srinivas University College of Engineering and Technology, appreciated the activities and achievements of student’s association over the years and encouraged the students to work towards more achievements. Prof. Nagaraja N S, Head, Department of E & C gave a brief introduction of the association and explained the way the association has grown. Mr. Omprakash V Bhat, Faculty Advisor presented the proposed activities of the association and introduced the new office bearers to the gathering.

The Newsletter of E & C association was released by the guests on this occasion. The academic toppers were honoured with the academic excellence prizes. Mr. Krishna Kaushik, Assistant Professor, E & C read the Merit students list while the guest gave away the Prizes. Mr. Harshith Kumar G Salian, President of NICSA gave the Welcome address. Ms. Manjusha Jadhav delivered the Vote of thanks. Ms. Afshin, Technical Secretary of NICSA introduced the guest. Ms. Prathwesha and Mr. Punith Puthran  were the masters of ceremony.

A Technical talk on “Fuzzy Logic” by Dr. Abdul Kareem Director, R & D, MIT, Kundapura was organized prior to the formal function.
