A workshop on Aero Modeling and 3D Printer was organized by Mechanical Engineering students of TECHNOTRONICS team of Srinivas University College of Engineering & Technology ( SUCET) to Mechanical Engg & Printing Technology Diploma Students of Dr. T.M.A Pai, Polytechnic, Manipal on 23-03-2018. The workshop was conducted for a batch of 45 students for a duration of 3 hrs. The workshop was conducted by TECHNOTRONICS team with working kits and fundamentals were taught through presentation. The students were imparted with fundamental knowledge about Aero Modeling and #D Printing.

A workshop on Aero Modeling and 3D Printer was organized by Mechanical Engineering students of TECHNOTRONICS team of Srinivas University College of Engineering & Technology ( SUCET) to Mechanical Branch Diploma Students of Karnataka Polytechnic (KPT), Mangaluru on 20-03-2018. The workshop was conducted for a batch of 60 students for a duration of 2 hrs. The workshop was conducted by TECHNOTRONICS team with working kits and fundamentals were taught through presentation. Students were imparted with fundamentals and knowledge of the workshop objectives. Students were fully interested and were keen in understanding the concepts. Students also showed full involvement in the workshop.

Prof. Alain Schmitt – President, Emmanuel Dequeker – Director (International Admissions), and Laurent BAUDRY, Secretary of ECOLE NATIONALE SUPERIEURE MINES TELECOM LILLE DOUAI (IMT Lille Douai), One of the Premier institutes in France, have visited Srinivas University on 15/03/2018 to discuss about various possibilities on academic collaboration between Srinivas University and IMT Lille Douai. Prof. Alain Schmitt, President of IMT Lille Douai and Sri CA A. Raghavendra Rao, Chancellor, Srinivas University, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding ( MOU ) between Srinivas University and IMT Lille Douai.  As per this MOU, Students of Srinivas University and IMT Lille Douai can study one year or one semester in France and India in B. Tech. and Humanities programmes.  Ph.D. students and Post-Doctoral students can also visit both the Universities on mutual understanding, Research Partnership, Joint organization of Conferences, Student / Faculty Exchange Programs and many more activities

Srinivas Hospital, Mukka has conducted free Skin and Dermatology check-up camp for the students of Srinivas University - College of Engineering and Technology (SUCET) during the first and second week of March 2018. Around 400 girl students have taken the benefit of this drive.

A technical talk on Job Opportunities for Mechanical Engineers b y Mr. Suraj Kumar Shetty, Director, Inergia Pvt Ltd was held on 13/03/2018 @ Srinivas University College of Engineering and Technology. Mr. Suraj Kumar Shetty presented a topic on what skill does a mechanical engineer should posses in order to be easily placed in various companies and he has also elaborated on various other streams through which students can progress. All the students of 6th semester and 8th semester Mechanical Engineering were present in the session.

Mr. Mithun Shetty , a student of Srinivas University-College of Engineering & Technology (SUCET) has won 3 Gold Medals and 1 Bronze Medal in Athletics (100m, 200m, Shot Put & Javelin Throw) in REVELS 2018 , the National Cultural &  Sports Fest of Manipal Institute of Technology held during 7-10 March 2018. Students from all over India participated in the Event. Congratulations to Mr. Mithun Shetty.

Srinivas University College of Engineering & Technology (SUCET) celebrated International Womens Day at Mukka, Mangaluru. Dr. Suma Bhat (HOD, Dept of Mechanical Engg), Smt Malathi (Non-Teaching Staff, Dept of Computer Sc & Engg) & Miss Supriya Rao (Student, Final Year B.E Computer Sc & Engg) were felicitated for their Contribution in areas other than Academics. SRISTICA , Students Association of Dept of  Civil Engineering, SUCET (Srinivas University College of Engineering & Technology) organized Technical Talk on Tuesday, 6th March 2018 at Mukka Campus. Er Somashekhar N., Territory Technical Service Manager from UltraTech Cement, Mangaluru delivered Talk on Value Added Concrete, Advanced Concrete Technology, Different Types of Concrete, and Present Market Trends with photographs of work done by UltraTech Cement. Around 220 Civil Engineering, Faculty members of the Department, HOD Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde and Principal Dr. Shreeprakash B. were present for the talk. 

The Alumni Meet of Srinivas School of Engineering was held on 11 th February  2018  in the college auditorium. The Invocation was rendered by Mr. Shailendra Prabhu. A throwback of old memories and revisiting them was done through a collection of photographs of the various activities held over the past 8 years displayed in the form of a short movie created by Mr Vishwas Shetty of the Mechanical Engineering Dept . Dr Praveen, HOD of Chemistry department welcomed the gathering and gave an insight into the Srinivas University. The inauguration of the Alumni Association and the Alumni Meet was done by lighting the lamp by the Alumni.

The Rotaract Club of Srinivas University College of Engineering and Technology, Mukka conducted a Badminton and Table Tennis tournament for Men & Women, both Staff & students of the Srinivas Group’s Mukka campus comprising of SIMS & RC, SIDS and SUCET on 24 th & 27 th February, 2018 in the college premises. The first place in badminton men’s was won by Dr. Nishith from SIDS and Mr. Nidish from SIDS was the Runner up. In the women’s category, first place was won by Ms. Kavya from Srinivas University College of Engineering and Technology and second place was won by Ms. Mashroofa of SIDS. In Table Tennis, men’s first place was won by Dr.Ramakrishna Hegde of SUCET and second place was won by Mr. Mohammed Sahil of SUCET. In women’s category, the first place was won by Ms. Meghana Rao from SIMS & RC and second place by Ms Vineetha B from of SUCET. The winners were given a Winners Certificate, a trophy and cash prize.  

30 percent concession on procedure and 40 percent concession on  investigation for srinivas students/staff and for relatives who come with students/staff. Offer applicable only for camp on 3rd March 2018 .

There were 60 students divided into batches. Workshop was conducted for duration of 3 hrs. Training was provided by TECHNOTRONICS team with working kits and fundamentals were taught through presentation. Students were imparted with fundamentals and knowledge of the workshop objectives. Students were fully interested and were keen in understanding the concepts. Students also showed full involvement in the workshop. They also have requested the team to conduct further workshops in future.
