Yuva Science Talent - 2017 @ SUCET
Yuva Science Talent 2017 was held on 30th October at Srinivas University-College of Engineering & Technology (SUCET), Mukka. Prof. Mahabaleshwara Bhat S (Principal, Sharada PU College, Mangaluru) and Prof. Lakshmi P (Principal, Govinda Dasa PU College, Surathkal) were the Chief Guests of the inaugural function. Dr. Anil Kumar (Registrar, Srinivas University) presided over the function, Dr. Shreeprakash B (Dean, SUCET) and Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde (Convener of the Event) were present. More than 400 students from 40 plus PU Colleges from different parts of Karnataka & Kerala participated in the event.
Dr. Shreeprakash B. welcomed the dignitaries and introduced the Chief Guests to the gathering. Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde briefed the objectives of organising Yuva Science Talent at SUCET Mukka. Both the Chief Guests expressed their immense satisfaction and appreciation for organising Yuva Science Talent which will provide an opportunity for the PU Students to showcase their Talent, Knowledge and Skills. In his Presidential remarks, Dr. Anil Kumar advised the students to focus on implementation of Knowledge in Real Case Scenario, which in turn will enrich the Knowledge & Skills.
Mr. Shailendra Prabhu performed invocation, Dr. Praveen B. M. delivered vote of thanks, Ms. Preeti Rao and Mrs. Nikitha Saurabh were the Master of Ceremony. HODs, faculty members, staff and students were present on this occasion. Various competitions including Debate, Quiz, Collage, Model making & Treasure Hunt were conducted for PU students. Govinda Dasa PU College, Surathkal and Poorna Prajna PU College, Udupi were the Overall Winners & Runners respectively.
