The College of Engineering & Technology will remain closed on 1st November 2017(Wednesday) on account of Kannada Rajyothsava. 

Inauguration of A ssociation of I ntegrated M echanical E ngineering S tudents ( AIMES ) for the academic year 2017-18 was held on 12/10/2017 at Srinivas School of Engineering, Mukka. Mr. Ajith Kamath, Vice President, Kanara Small Industries Association, Baikampady and the Proprietor of Ajith Enterprises, Mangalore was the Chief Guest. Dr. Anil Kumar, Registrar, Srinivas University, presided over the function. Mr. Nikhil Kotian, Vice President, AIMES, welcomed the gathering, Mr. Shishir Acharya, Secretary introduced the chief guest to the gathering and Mr. Sheshagiri Tantry, President of the association read the report on previous year activities of AIMES and the proposed activities for the current year.             Dr. Shreeprakash B, Principal, Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde, Vice Principal, Dr. Suma Bhat, HOD, Mechanical Department, Staff members of Mechanical Engineering Department and HODs of various departments were present during the function. College of Engineering & Technology, Mukka, will remain closed from Wednesday, 18/10/2017 to Saturday, 21/10/2017 on account of  Deepavali. To compensate the link holidays of 19/10/2017 and 21/10/2017 , the college will work full days on 14/10/2017 , 28/10/2017 and 04/11/2017 (Saturdays).

The Inaugural function of Association of Computer Engineers (ACE) for the academic year 2017-2018 was held on 9th of October 2017 at the College of Engineering & Technology, Mukka. Mr. Harish Neermarga, CEO, Accolade Tech Solution, was the Chief Guest of the event.  The official website of ACE designed by Mr Ekanath 5th semester CSE student was launched by Mr. Harish Neermarga. Mr. Harish Neermarga addressed the gathering with a brief information regarding Android and the development of various application on that platform.The function was presided by Dr Anil Kumar, Registrar, Srinivas University. The students and Faculty members of Srinivas University-College of Engineering & Technology have shown their commitment to rid the country of the menace of corruption. More than 600 students and staff of the institution have taken the e-Integrity Pledge from the website of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). Officials of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) who are entrusted with the task of ensuring that a maximum number of citizens make a commitment to being corruption-free presented a certificate to the college for promoting a corruption free India.
